Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
We do not give facility staff, corrections officers, prosecutors, or other users access to your account.
Authorized 4All.Help systems must process information to provide the feature you request. Encryption protects information in storage and transit; it does not make the service unable to process it.
AI features send the text you submit to the providers named below. Do not put unnecessary names, identification numbers, or confidential details into the public demonstration.

Where This Policy Applies

This policy applies to the 4All.Help website, public demonstration, approved accounts, and 4All.Help mobile applications operated by BenchSlap LLC. It does not apply to a court, correctional facility, outside website, or another service you reach through a link.

Information We Process

Public demonstration

The question you submit, selected language, recent conversation context, generated answer, and source-verification result. No account is required.

Account information

Username, email address, optional display name, preferred language, a one-way password hash, account status, and versioned consent records.

Work you choose to save

Case or matter details, uploaded documents and extracted text, questions, drafts, answers, notes, deadlines, and related workspace records.

Security and operations

Network and device information needed for rate limits, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, security, and service reliability. The signup consent record keeps a minimized keyed network receipt, not the raw signup IP address.

Please do not submit a Social Security number, correctional identification number, biometric information, another person's private information, or details that are not needed for your legal-information request.

AI Processing and Service Providers

Know where your text goes

When you press Ask in the public demonstration, 4All.Help sends your question and recent demonstration context to Google to generate an answer. If that service is unavailable, it may use OpenAI. The answer is then checked against governed legal sources before release.

For an approved account, text or documents you choose to submit to an AI-assisted feature may be processed by Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI only after the current AI-processing agreement is accepted. You can decline and use non-AI public information instead.

These providers and our hosting, storage, email, security, and support vendors process information only to supply their service to 4All.Help. We do not authorize them to advertise to you. Their systems are separate from 4All.Help, so no internet service can promise that a transmission is risk-free.

How We Use Information

Provide the public demonstration and the account features you request.
Save, retrieve, verify, and delete your work at your direction.
Authenticate users, enforce account approval and limits, prevent abuse, and investigate security events.
Operate, diagnose, improve, and protect the service. We do not use your case content to train a BenchSlap model.

When Information May Be Disclosed

We do not give correctional facilities or government agencies routine access to your account. We may disclose information to service providers described above, when you direct us to, to investigate fraud or a threat to safety or service security, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by valid legal process. We review legal requests and disclose only information we reasonably believe is required. We may notify you unless the law forbids it or an emergency makes notice impractical.

Security

Production traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and sensitive stored fields use authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption.
Passwords are stored as one-way PBKDF2 hashes with 600,000 iterations, not as readable passwords.
Account data is separated by user and protected by authorization checks. Sessions use signed, secure, HttpOnly cookies in production and can be revoked.

No security control can eliminate every risk. Protect your password, sign out on a shared device, and contact us if you believe someone accessed your account.

Retention and Deletion

Public demonstration

Recent question-and-answer context is kept in temporary server memory for up to 30 minutes. Rate-limit, security, and provider records may be kept longer as needed to operate and protect the service.

Active account content

Kept while the account is active or until you delete the content or account. A nonpaying account may be purged after at least 30 days without a login, but only after a warning has been sent at least 5 days before the purge.

Deletion requests

Deletion disables access and starts a durable erasure process for account content, database records, and stored objects. If a storage service is temporarily unavailable, deletion is retried and is not reported complete until required cleanup succeeds.

Limited retained records

We may retain narrowly limited billing, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance, or deidentified records when required. Deleted account identity is replaced with unusable, randomized values.

Cookies and Tracking

4All.Help uses essential first-party cookies and browser storage for session authentication, request security, language, and necessary account state. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, Google Analytics, or a third-party advertising network.

Sensitive Situations

4All.Help is not a law firm, lawyer, emergency service, or PREA reporting channel. Information you enter does not create an attorney-client relationship and may not be legally privileged. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or the appropriate facility or PREA reporting channel. 4All.Help cannot file a report for you.

Your Choices and Rights

Use public, non-AI information without creating an account.
Decline AI processing for account features that require it.
Request access to or correction of your account information.
Export available work before deleting it, and request deletion of a matter or account.
Ask how your information was handled or report a privacy concern.

Age Limit

4All.Help is intended for people age 17 and older. We do not knowingly create an account for a person under 17. Contact us if you believe a minor's information was submitted.

Policy Changes

When a material policy, AI-processing term, or provider set changes, 4All.Help changes the versioned agreement and requires affected account users to review and accept the current version before protected features continue.

Who We Are and How to Contact Us

4All.Help is operated by BenchSlap LLC. It is not operated by the Utah Department of Corrections, a court, a prosecutor, or a law-enforcement agency.
