The 4All.Help Promise
Your case information is never shared with facility staff, corrections officers, prosecutors, or any government entity without a valid court order signed by a judge. We cannot read your data. It is encrypted so that only you can access it.
What We Collect
We collect only what is needed for the app to work. Nothing more.
Your username
So you can log in. Encrypted.
Your password
Scrambled so no one can read it, not even us. We use 600,000 rounds of encryption.
Your case number
So the system can find information about your case. Encrypted.
Documents you upload
Text is extracted, then the original file is destroyed. Only encrypted text is kept.
Questions you ask
So the system can answer you. Encrypted and stored in your private account only.
Answers you receive
So you can refer back to them. Encrypted.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your location or GPS data
- Your browsing history
- Your contacts or communications with anyone
- Any biometric data (fingerprints, face scans)
- Your Social Security number
- Your DOC number or inmate number (we do not ask for it and do not want it)
- Information about your cellmates, bunkmates, or other inmates
- Your physical location within the facility
Who Can See Your Data
Only you. Period.
- Not facility staff.
- Not corrections officers.
- Not wardens or administrators.
- Not prosecutors.
- Not the Utah Department of Corrections.
- Not other inmates.
- Not our team. Your data is encrypted so we cannot read it even if we wanted to.
The only exception: a valid court order
If law enforcement presents a court order signed by a judge that specifically names your account, we are required by law to comply. We will:
- Notify you that a request was made (unless the court order prohibits notification)
- Provide only the specific data named in the order — nothing more
- Challenge overbroad requests
We will never voluntarily give your data to any government agency, law enforcement body, corrections department, or prosecutor. A subpoena alone is not enough. An informal request is not enough. Only a court order signed by a judge compels disclosure.
How We Protect Your Data
- Encryption at rest: All your documents and conversations are encrypted with AES-256, the same standard used by the U.S. military.
- Encryption in transit: All data between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.3. No one in the middle can read it.
- Separate storage per user: Each user's data is stored separately. There is no way for one user's search or question to access another user's documents.
- Password protection: Your password is scrambled 600,000 times before it is stored. Nobody can reverse it.
- Auto-logout: Your session ends automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you walk away from a shared tablet, your data is protected.
- Secure cookies: Session tokens cannot be stolen by other apps or scripts. They are encrypted, signed, and locked to your session.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Your documents and conversations
Kept while your account is active. Automatically deleted after 20 days with no login.
Your account
Kept until you delete it or it is purged for inactivity.
Original uploaded files
Destroyed immediately after text extraction. We do not keep the original file.
You can delete your data at any time by deleting your case files or your account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do NOT sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do NOT use your data for marketing.
- We do NOT use your data to train any computer system or model.
- We do NOT use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
- We do NOT use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking service.
- We do NOT share your data with the Utah Department of Corrections.
- We do NOT report your usage to anyone at your facility.
- We do NOT monitor what you search for or what documents you create.
Cookies
We use only two cookies, both essential for the app to work:
- Session cookie: Keeps you logged in. Encrypted and signed. Deleted when you log out or after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Security token: Prevents unauthorized requests. Required for the app to work securely.
No advertising cookies. No tracking cookies. No third-party cookies. Nothing that follows you or records your activity.
PREA and Sensitive Information
If you are a victim of sexual abuse or assault under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), any information you enter into this app about that experience is encrypted and protected under the same policies described above. Facility staff cannot access it. However:
- This app is not a crisis hotline. If you are in immediate danger, contact facility staff or call the PREA hotline.
- This app cannot file a PREA report on your behalf. It can help you understand your rights and prepare documents.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- See what data we have about you (ask us and we will show you)
- Delete any or all of your data at any time
- Download your documents before deleting your account
- Ask us any question about how your data is handled
